Sauteed Spicy Peppers with Marjoram Vinaigrette

A nice summer salad.
Ingredients:
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup red onion, sliced thin
1 clove garlic, peeled and left whole
4 banana peppers
2 red bell peppers, cut into 1/2 strips
2 yellow bell peppers, cut into 1/2 strips
2 jalapeno peppers, cut into 1/4 strips
Directions:
1. Heat oil over medium heat until smoking. Add the onion and garlic and saute 4-5 minutes until soft. Add all the peppers and saute until soft, about 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and allow to cool.
2. Toss with marjoram vinaigrette.
