Believe it or not, our company cafeteria had green beans similar to this so I decided to try to create them at home. I think that they turned out pretty well. I like to buy the haricot vert beans that I can buy at Sam's Club for this recipe.
Ingredients:
1 lb of thin green beans or 1 lb haricot beans
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 -2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Clean the beans well and cut off the ends. (if they are not already cut off. The haricot verts usually already have one end cut off. It is fine to leave the other end on).
2. Steam the beans for about 3 minutes or until they are tender crisp.
3. Drain the water off.
4. Heat the toasted sesame oil in a wok or frying pan until hot.
5. Add the beans.
6. Add the soy sauce.
7. Add the sesame seeds.
8. Stir fry until they are done, about 2 - 3 minutes.
9. Enjoy!
