This is a very simple and tasty dessert. Great when apples are not as good as you expected.
Ingredients:
5 lbs apples
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white wine
Directions:
1. Peel the apples, cored them and cut into slices.
2. Sautee in butter and sprinkle with sugar until they are delicately brown and caramelized.
3. After caramelizing add wine and cook for 5 minutes.
4. You can serve plain or sprinkle with cinnamon and a dab of whipped cream.
