Sausage, Egg & Biscuit casserole

Ingredients:
1 pound(s) bulk breakfast sausage browned
8 buttermilk biscuits (frozen) thawed and halved
7 eggs
2 cup(s) half-and-half (reg or fat free)
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
1 1/2 cup(s) cheddar cheese shredded
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. Coat a 7 X 11 Baking dish with nonstick spray and place on baking sheet.
2. Brown sausage breaking into chunks. Drain on paper towels.
3. Whisk eggs, half & half and salt and pepper in a bowl.
4. Layer biscuit bottoms in prepared dish. Sprinkle half of sausage over biscuits, and top with half of the cheese. Repeat layering (except cheese). Pour egg mixture over the top of casserole. Transfer to oven and bake 30 min. Sprinkle the remaining Cheddar over top of casserole and bake until eggs are set. A toothpick inserted into a biscuit comes out clean and tops are golden, 10-15 minutes more. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes.
