Sausage Egg And Cheese Biscuit Casserole

Great for brunch as well as breakfast,this is real comfort food!
Ingredients:
1 (1pound) package mild pork sausage
1 cup shredded italian 5-cheese blend
1 (8 ounce) package, cubed, velveeta cheese
4 large eggs
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tsp. garlic salt.
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 (10.2 ounce)can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
garnish:fresh thyme leaves
Directions:
1. PREHEAT:oven to 350 degrees.
2. Spray a 9X9 inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray;set aside.
3. In a large non-stick skillet,cook sausage over n=medium-high heat,stirring occasionally,until sausage is browned and crumbly,drain well on paper towels.
4. cool.
5. Sprinkle sausage and cheeses into prepared dish.
6. In a medium bowl,whisk together eggs,cream,thyme garlic,salt,and pepper.
7. Pour over sausage mixture.
8. Arrange biscuits evenly on top.
9. Bake for 20 minutes,or until biscuits are golden brown;
10. Cover with aluminum foil,and bake 15 minutes longer.
11. Let stand for 15 minutes before standing.
12. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
