This can be prepared the night before and refrigerated till morning
Ingredients:
2 cans (12 oz) evaporated milk
8 large eggs, beaten
1 lb. precooked sausage links, cut into 14 inch slices
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped red and/or green bell peppers
2 green onions sliced(green parts only)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
8 cups 1/2-inch cubed italian or french bread (about 9 slices)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish
3. Combine all except the bread, and mix
4. Add bread, stirring gently to moisten
5. Pour mixture into prepared dish
6. Bake for 45 minutes or until set
7. This can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking
8. You can also substitute multi-grain bread
