Think this is the finale. It had to be something good ... really really really GOOD ... father's day and all with the 4th following with a BANG .... Well, kind of fitting as this recipe, I don't suppose you would find in too many homes. Read more . I mean who ever heard of Gouda? It's a CHEESE, you know. Like Havarti cheese. I got my education on the Big Cheese, when Ralph's use to have their International cheese section - went bust as soon as Bush Jr. decided to outsource America's jobs; dismantle manufacturing jobs; jobs went sour, debts escalated, and the media LIES (stipulates the WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE. ) Well, we AIN'T STUPID. Most are, but maybe just maybe some didn't get dummied down. Though the odds of that happening is slim to none. Anyhoo, if mankind had an opportunity to have it's last meal. As you can see, RECIPES are plentiful, but the INGREDIENTS may become a SCARCITY. Imagine being fed on a HOLOGRAM. You have to PRETEND YOUR TUMMY WAS FULL. The last day for the human race would be a sad day. It's coming around the corner, you know.
Ingredients:
8 large eggs
1/4 cup flour
1 cup cooked, chopped sausage
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup half & half
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup shredded smoked gouda cheese
spinach cream sauce
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup of flour
1-1/2 cups half & half
1-1/2 to 2 cups blanched, chopped spinach
2 to 3 drops tabasco pepper and worcestershire sauces
grated cheese (optional)
Directions:
1. Butter 8 individual ramekins or two 9-inch pie pans.
2. In a large bowl, combine eggs, flour, gouda, cream, cottage cheese along with salt and pepper.
3. Place equal amounts of chopped sausage in each ramekin or pan.
4. Fill the containers with the egg and cheese batter.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

7. In a small sauce pan, melt butter. Add flour to make a roux.
8. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Add in half & half. Add in spinach. Season with sauces and add cheese.
