Sausage and Potato Supper
Ingredients:
4 slices bacon
1 lb sausage
4 potatoes
1 onion
2 ounces butter
2 teaspoons herbs
4 ounces cheese
1/2 pint milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F/Mark 5. Cook sausages and bacon under grill until lightly browned. Cut sausages into slices. Arrange potato slices, onions, bacon and sausages in layers in a greased ovenproof dish, sprinkling each layer with butter, seasoning, and herbs. Finish with a layer of potato on top. Cover with grated cheese, pour in milk and bake in oven for about 1 hour until potatoes are soft.
