Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole

sausage and egg breakfast casserole
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 lbs mild sausage (cooked and drained)
4 eggs
2 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup milk, for later use
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
2 ounces cream of mushroom soup
Directions:
1. Spray 9 x 12 dish with cooking spray.
2. Cover bottom of dish with croutons.
3. Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese over croutons.
4. Layer browned and drained sausage over cheese.
5. Sprinkle remaining cheese over sausage.
6. Beat eggs, the 2 1/4 cups of milk, and ground mustard together and pour on top of sausage.
7. At this point, you may cover and refrigerate overnight, or continue to next step.
8. Mix the can of mushroom soup and the 1/2 cup of milk together and pour on top of casserole.
9. Bake at 300 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours until done.
