This huge sandwich is a great way to feed a crowd for brunch. its versatile too feel free to add your favorite meats and veggies to this sandwich. Read more .
Ingredients:
1/2- cup old -fashioned oats
1/2 - cup boiling water
2- tablespoons butter
1 - package ( 16 ounces) hot roll mix
3/4- cup warm water ( 110- 115 degrees)
2- eggs beaten
1- tablespoon dried minced onion
topping .........
1 egg
1- teaspoon garlic salt
1- tablespoon dried minced onion
1- tablespoon sesame seeds
filling.............
1/2- cup mayonnaise
4- teaspoons prepared mustard
1/2- teaspoon prepared horseradish
lettuce leaves
8- ounces thinly sliced fully cooked deli ham
8- ounces thinly sliced cooked turkey
8 - ounces thinly sliced ... cooked roast beef
1 medium green pepper thinly sliced
1 red onion thinly sliced
6-8 ounces swiss cheese thinly sliced
6-8 ounces cheddar cheese thinly sliced
2- large tomatoes thinly sliced
and what ever else you want on it i like the banana peppers sliced on it and jalapenos sliced ..............i also love pepperjack cheese too so i add these to mine when i make it ..............
Directions:
1. In a large bowl , combine oats , boiling water and butter, let stand for 5 minutes.
2. meanwhile , dissolve yeast from hot roll mix in warm water
3. add to the oat mixture with eggs and onion
4. add flour mixture frim hot roll mix stir well ( do not knead)........
5. spread dough into a 10 inch circle on a well greased pizza pan
6. cover with plastic wrap coated with a nonstick cooking spray.....
7. let rise in a warm place until doubled about 45 minutes
8. beat egg and garlic salt, brush gently over dough
9. sprinkle with onion and sesame seeds
10. bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown
11. remove from pan , cool on a wire rack, split lengthwise
12. combine mayonnaise, mustard and horseradish, spread over cut sides of bread
13. layer with meat cheeses and veggies
14. cut into wedges and serve with chips or fries
15. yield 12 servings depending on sizes cut.............
