Ingredients:
1/2 pound salt pork, sliced
2 medium-size cooking apples, cored, peeled, and sliced into rings
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Fry pork in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crisp. Drain pork on paper towels; set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet.
2. Fry apples in skillet until lightly browned and tender, turning once.
3. Place apples around pork on serving platter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
