A simple red salsa. A variation of Pico de Gallo (Fresh Salsa / Salsa Cruda).
Ingredients:
1 cup diced fresh onion
2 diced fresh jalapenos
8 whole fresh tomatoes (diced)
1 tablespoon minced cilantro leaf
1 lime, juice of
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch cumin (to taste)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in large pot.
2. Simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
4. Serve chilled.
