Ever try to make salsa at home and notice the flavor is lacking as compared to your favorite store bought salsa? well, here you go... the magic blend. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
28oz can whole tomatoes - juice and all
6 roma tomatoes - cored
1 lg white onion - rough chop
1 lime - fresh, juiced
3 lg jalapenos - cored and chopped
6 lg serranos - cored and chopped
1 chipolte pepper in adobe - chopped
1/2 - 1 bunch of cilantro - no large stems
5 lg cloves garlic - minced
1.5 tbsp comino (cumin)
1 tbsp mild red chile powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Place all in a blender and give it a whirll.
2. note: your blender will need to hold ~72oz (9 cups) to accomplish in one batch.
3. tightly seal and store refridgerated for up to 10 days.
