This is something I decided to try one day in college when I had very little in the fridge. My family ended up binging on it the first time I made it before dinner. Someone with no cooking skills whatsoever can do this.
Ingredients:
(1) 8oz pkg smoked salmon (flavors are fine - must be thawed. no frozen fish)
(1) 12oz pkg philadelphia cream cheese
(1) pinch sea salt or kosher salt (3 pinches for table salt)
1/2 tsp ground pepper (the fresher the better)
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil or parsley
1/4 tsp fennel seeds (for slightly sweeter paté)
Directions:
1. The flavor Smoked Salmon you use determines the end flavor greatly. Choose wisely or stick to plain flavors.
2. Drain Salmon.
3. Mix all ingredients together in Medium Bowl.
4. Serve with Crackers of your choice. I prefer Saltines or Ritz.
