I combined three recipes to come up with dinner tonight. I think it was good, but more telling is that my extremely picky husband actually ate it! The portions are approxmate, but just remember one part mayo to two parts sour cream and horseradish and lime to taste. You'll love it!
Ingredients:
2 frozen salmon fillets, thawed in refrigerator
1 bunch dill
4 sprigs fresh thyme
1 lime
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon horseradish
Directions:
1. Set up grill for indirect heat.
2. Rinse and.
3. pat dry the salmon filets. Pull out two large slices of aluminum foil. Place some dill and thyme on each slice, put salmon on top. Drizzle with olive oil, including the bottom, rub it inches.
4. Crimp the foil to make an air tight package. Cook on the grill until done, approximately 15 minutes.
5. In the meantime, combine last four ingredients to taste, refrigerate until ready to use. In fact. the earlier you make the sauce the better.
6. Enjoy!
