Salisbury Steak With Onion Gravy

Great comfort food here. This one has been around for awhile and one my mother made for us as kids and my siblings and I still make it for our families. It never gets old. Yummy
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 can condensed french onion soup divided
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
6 cups hot cooked egg noodles
Directions:
1. In a large bowl beat the egg then stir in 1/3 cup of the soup, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
2. Add the beef and mix gently.
3. Shape into six oval patties.
4. Brown the patties in a skillet over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side then remove and set aside.
5. Discard the drippings.
6. In the skillet combine flour and water until smooth.
7. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and remaining soup then bring to a boil and cook and stir 2 minutes.
8. Return patties to skillet then cover and simmer 15 minutes.
9. Serve patties and gravy over noodles.
