Salisbury Steak

this gravy is so good; can also be made as meatballs
Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk (or silk)
1 tablespoon minced onion (i add more)
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumb
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch sugar
1 pinch allspice
1 pinch nutmeg
1 lb ground beef
1 cup boiling water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 -2 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons cornstarch, in
1/4 cup cold water
Directions:
1. Mix egg, milk and all and add to ground beef. Mix gently.
2. Brown quickly in oil in heated medium-sized skillet.
3. Mix ingredients for gravy until blended.
4. Pour over meat and simmer on low for 30 minutes.
5. Serve with rice or noodles or bread.
