Rum Raisin Cheddar Spread

This is a creamy, cheddary spread which I usually serve in a crock. Big hit at parties!
Ingredients:
8 ounces finely grated cheddar cheese
8 ounces cream cheese
3 tablespoons rum, your choice
1/2 cup raisins
Directions:
1. Soak raisins in rum for 1 hour.
2. Blend cheese together.
3. Stir in raisins.
4. Refrigerate several hours to blend.
5. Serve at room temperature on dark pumpernickel or apple slices.
