Rosemary Vinaigrette (Vinagreta Con Romero)

Adapted from Mexican Family Cooking. The soaking step is optional. Good with a simple lettuce salad. Cooking time is chilling time.
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon rosemary
hot water (optional)
1 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon paprika, mexican preferred
1 garlic clove, bruised
Directions:
1. Cover rosemary with hot water and soak about 3 minutes. Drain. This step is optional.
2. Place rosemary in a jar with a lid.
3. Add remaining ingredients.
4. Shake well.
5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
6. Strain before using.
