Rosemary Roasted Onions

Caramelized onions from the oven...wait until you smell them roasting! I use these onions as a side dish, on pizza, as an omelette filling, on a hot sandwich or just use your own imagination and then share the results with me.
Ingredients:
6 large onions, sliced
6 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, minced
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large roasting pan, tossing to coat with the oil.
2. Bake at 400 degrees, stirring occasionally for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until nicely browned.
