This is a great recipe to make for celebrating the end of school and the start of summer vacation!! This drink tends to overflow, which is part of the fun. If you want to avoid that use larger glasses and don't fill to the top to prevent this from happening. You can have many variations of this drink by replacing the root beer with your favorite soda such as orange soda, cream soda, gingerale, lemon soda, or cola. Have a few of these available so everyone can make their favorite,.
Ingredients:
4 scoops eagle brand vanilla ice cream
4 cups root beer, cold
Directions:
1. Pour 1/2 cold root beer into bottom of each glass. Carefully add 1 scoop of ice cream (about 1/2 cup) to each glass. Slowly fill the glass with another 1/2 cup root beer. Serve with a spoon and a straw. Eat slowly, scooping the ice cream and root beer together with your spoon, Make sure you use a straw to drink up every last bit of this delicious drink!
