I like root beer barrel candy and cheesecake
Ingredients:
cheesecake mixture
2(8oz) cream cheese,softened
1/2 cup light brown sugar,packed firmly
2 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons root beer flavoring
6 oz. crushed root beer barrel candies
crust
1/2 cup butter,softened
1/2 cup light brown sugar,packed firmly
1 teaspoon root beer flavoring(or) half root beer and half vanilla
1-1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Directions:
1. For Crust:
2. Cream butter,brown sugar,flavorings,until fluffy.
3. Add flour,stir until well blended,stir in pecans.
4. Press about 1 teaspoon mixture into bottom of paper lined miniature muffin pans.
5. For Filling:
6. Beat cream cheese and brown sugar until fluffly,add eggs,and root beer flavoring,beat until well blended.
7. Stir in crushed Root Beer Barrels.
8. Spoon about 1 Tablespoon of mixture over each crust mixture.
9. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 16 to 18 minutes or until the filling is set.
10. Remove to wire rack and cool.
11. Store in refrigerator,may sprinkle finely crushed root beer barrels over top after a small drop of whipped cream that has been flavored with root beer favoring.
