Rob's Basic Chili

This is a very basic chili recipe that I used for years, and all it involves is browning some meat and opening some cans. The Frito's & cheese make it fun, too.
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger
1 lb bulk italian sausage
1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 onion, chopped
4 -8 tablespoons chili powder
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (18 ounce) bag fritos corn chips
Directions:
1. Brown meats together, drain.
2. Dump in beans, tomato sauce, onion, chili powder. Let simmer for at least an hour.
3. When done, line bottom of serving bowls with Frito's, add chili, sprinkle cheese on top.
