Hummus is one of the more popular Middle Eastern dips. Served with fresh or toasted pita bread, hummus makes for a great snack or appetizer. I got the basic recipe from : Middle Eastern Foods.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tbsp tahini
16 oz chick peas
4 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup roasted red peppers
Directions:
1. Drain chickpeas. Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.
