Roasted Red Pepper, Corn and Black Bean Soup

Ingredients:
1 quart chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
12 ounces roasted red peppers, drained and diced
1 cup corn
2 cups chopped onions
3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/2 cup diced ham
2/3 cup uncooked long grain rice
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except, rice, salt and pepper, in slow cooker.
2. Cook on high 4-6 hours, adding rice during the last 2 hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
