Roasted Oysters With Cilantro Lime Dipping Sauce

These would make a great appetizer for the Supper Bowl if its not to cold to use your grill....if it is..try this summer.....
Ingredients:
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup dry white wine
4 to 6 dozen oysters, scrubbed
Directions:
1. Stir together 3/4 cup water and sugar in a small sauce pan; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves; cool.
2. Stir in cilantro and next 4 ingredients; set aside.
3. Place oysters on grill.
4. Cook over medium high heat (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 8 to 10 minutes or until shells open.
5. Remove from grill.
6. Pry open oysters rest of way using an oyster knife, discarding the empty half shells.
7. Run knife under meat of oyster to release.
8. Arrange oysters on platter, and serve with dipping sauce.
9. 12 servings.
