This is a very easy and delicious side dish that looks like you spent a LOT of time for it.
Ingredients:
1 lb of fresh green beans, trimmed and blanched. (or one bag of frozen long(not cut) green beans.)
one bunch of scallions, sliced.
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp of olive oil
sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450.
2. Blanch green beans if fresh.
3. Toss with remaining ingredients.
4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until beans are slightly brown and crispy on ends. Depending on my mood, sometimes I cook them longer until they are slightly carmelized...They're the best that way. You can serve them still crisp, as long as the onions and garlic are cooked through. Beautiful and delicious!
