Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16 oz) chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Drain can of chickpeas well. Toss drained beans, garlic, oil and seasonings
  2. Together in bowl. Spread mixture onto large, shallow pan so that the
  3. Garbanzos are in a single layer. Put into 400-degree oven for 20 to 30
  4. Minutes, shaking occasionally. Remove from oven and let cool for a few
  5. Minutes.These are best served warm.
  6. Note: Dried spices may be sprinkled on the garbanzos after roasting to vary
  7. Flavor. Instead of using fresh garlic, you can sprinkle with garlic powder
  8. After removing from oven
