Who says brussels sprouts have to be tasteless and mushy? With this recipe they're crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and loaded with flavor.
Ingredients:
2 cups brussels sprouts, fresh, trimmed
3/4 to 1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp crushed garlic, juice and all
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and toss to coat sprouts well. Place on a cookie sheet or in a shallow baking pan and roast for about 45 minutes at 375 to 400 until crisp on the outside, stirring and moving them around every 15 minutes.
2. Try adding herbs such as Rosemary and Thyme to this for a real treat.
