Adapted from Southern Living, this is my new favorite way to prepare broccoli. Serve alongside a simple preparation of a meat dish.
Ingredients:
4 cups broccoli, flowerets
5 garlic cloves, peeled and halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Place first 3 ingredients in a baking pan. Drizzle with oil, and toss.
2. Bake at 450°, stirring occasionally, 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cheese, tossing to coat.
