This recipe came to me Via the Ellis Island Immigrant Cookbook. It orginates from Italy
Ingredients:
2 lbs ricotta cheese
3 cups breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons parsley
1 teaspoon clove
1 cup romano cheese
6 eggs
Directions:
1. mix all ingredients together.
2. shape into balls then flatten.
3. fry in oil slowly until golden brown.
4. drain on paper towels.
