A family favorite
Ingredients:
2 cups rice
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed beef consomme
12 sliced green onions
1 tablespoon ground oregano
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can water
1/2 lb margarine
Directions:
1. Melt margaine in skillet, add mucshrooms, onions, rice and oregano.
2. Cook until onions are soft.
3. Add consomme and water, pour into a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish and cover.
4. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 45 minutes.
5. You may add shrimp or sliced smoked sausage.
