Rhubarb - Strawberry Upside Down Cake

It's July 4th and everybody wants something refreshing and fun. We have a ton of rhubarb............. so here is a recipe from a lady in the Spinners and Weavers Guild. We'll make this to celebrate the day.
Ingredients:
5 cups rhubarb, finely cut
1/4 cup sugar
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
1 (18 ounce) package white cake mix
3 egg whites (or as called for by your cake mix)
1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
16 ounces mini marshmallows
Directions:
1. Cover greased 9 x 13 pan with miniature marshmallows.
2. Mix rhubarb, sugar and Jell-O.
3. Let stand while preparing cake mix according to package directions.
4. Pour cake mix over marshmallows, then cover with the rhubarb mixture.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
6. Turn onto serving dish.
7. Cool and eat.
