A healthier option!
Ingredients:
1 large onion
1 green pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chili powder (can adjust to taste or preference)
1 tablespoon turmeric (can adjust to taste or preference)
1 lb turkey breast, thinly sliced (get the real turkey, not the fake stuff from the deli)
4 slices swiss cheese
2 large tomatoes
1 head lettuce
Directions:
1. Cook onion and green pepper in olive oil until slightly brown (onions) or tender (peppers). To your preference.
2. Dice tomatoes.
3. Then add diced tomatoes with chili powder and turmeric.
4. Add meat to the same pan or separate pan.
5. Lay out 4 large pieces of lettuce to use as bun.
6. Add swiss cheese to the mixture.
7. Layer the mixture of meat, peppers and sauce on lettuce leaf.
8. Roll-up and enjoy!
