This is a repost of fluffy24’s original recipe with her permission. I made it the other night with a few changes and took some pictures. It came out wonderful. That’s why I’m reposting it. From fluffy24's original post: All the flavors of a pizza, but put into a casserole
Ingredients:
1 pound ground chuck beef
3 (7.5 ounce) packages refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 (15 ounce) bottle pizza sauce
1 cup chopped green pepper (optional)
1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)
1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained (optional)
1 (3.25 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
pam cooking spray
3 quart pyrex baking dish
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Darin and set aside.
3. Spray the baking dish heavy with PAM.
4. Quarter the biscuits and place in into the baking dish.
5. Top the biscuits with the pizza sauce.
6. Sprinkle over the pizza sauce with the beef.
7. If using green pepper, onion or mushrooms, sprinkle them over the beef.
8. Layer the pepperoni over the top of your toppings selection.
9. Sprinkle both cheeses completely over the top of the dish.
10. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted.
11. Remove from oven and let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
12. Enjoy
