Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups crisco
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 (2 oz) bottle red food coloring
  • frosting
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 box 10x confectioners' sugar

Directions:

  1. Cake: Cream shortening, sugar and beat well, add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  2. Add other ingredients alternating with milk and flavorings.
  3. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 Soften the butter and cream cheese, beat well and add other ingredients until spreading consistency Ice cool cake.
