I love red velvet cake. I tried several recipes but they didn't come out like the one Nana made for us when we were in Middle School. I love her Southern Cooking. She was such a pretty and sweet old lady. She made the best homemade bread and I remember her working so hard in the cafeteria to feed us hungry kids lunch and everything was fresh. I found this recipe on the net with over 1000 reviewers and all gave this recipe a 4 1/2 stars. But haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. Hopefully it will be like Nana's.
