Oh this is so so good and so so quick. This is great with anything from tacos to biscuits. Is a great side dish. Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes (petite) |
3 cups chicken broth |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 cups rice |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan bring tomatoes and their juices, chicken broth( if using a can of chicken broth you won't have the entire 3 cups so just sub. with water), garlic powder, sugar and salt to a boil. 2. Stiri in the rice reduce heat and cover. 3. Simmer until rice is cooked through (about 20 minutes). |
