Red Potato Gratin

This is a modified version from a Cooking Light book from about 10 years ago. This is even better and healthier. My teenage boys love it!
Ingredients:
cooking spray
6 medium sized red potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/8 inch slices
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 to 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup lite swiss cheese, grated
1 cup nonfat milk
Directions:
1. Spray 1 1/2 quart casserole with cooking spray
2. Arrange half of the potato slices in dish
3. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil
4. Sprinkle with half the salt, half the pepper, half the garlic powder and half the cheese
5. Repeat the procedure with the remaining potato slices, oil, salt pepper, garlic powder and cheese
6. Bring milk to a boil on stovetop or microwave
7. Pour milk over potato mixture
8. Bake potatoes, uncovered, at 425 degrees for 40 minutes or unitl potatoes are tender
9. Let stand 10 minutes before serving
