Red Lobster-style Cheddar Biscuits

My version of Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits! I love these and serve them with many meals at home. Simply mix, bake, and enjoy your ride to Cheddar Bay...! Wherever that may be....
Ingredients:
biscuits
1 1/2 cups bisquick baking mix
3/4 cups cold whole milk
4 tablespoons cold butter (1/2 stick)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 heaping cup of grated cheddar cheese
brush on top
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Combine Bisquick with cold butter in medium bowl with large fork - not TOO thoroughly. There should be small chunks (pea-sized) of butter in the mix.
3. Add cheese, milk, 1/4 teaspoon of the garlic, to the mix.
4. Mix together by hand.
5. Drop by ice cream scoop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake 15-17 minutes or until biscuit tops are golden brown.
7. Prep the butter topping mix by melting the butter in microwave for a few seconds.
8. Add parsley, garlic powder and salt the topping mix.
9. Brush over biscuits with a pastry brush until all the butter is used.
10. Makes approx. 9-12 biscuits, depending on scoop size.
