Red-Cooked Pork Chops

Ingredients:
4 boneless pork chops, about 3/4-inch thick
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons minced onions
2 teaspoons five-spice powder
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, crushed
Directions:
1. In large self-sealing bag, mix together brown sugar, hoisin, soy sauce, Worcestershire, sesame oil, onion, five spice, ginger and garlic.
2. Add pork chops, seal bag and toss to coat.
3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
4. Prepare medium-hot fire in kettle-style grill.
5. Drain chops, discarding marinade.
6. Grill chops over direct heat for 8-10 minutes, turning once.
7. Alternatively, place in a shallow roasting pan and roast at 400 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes.
