Red Cabbage Salad

Tasty salad, more like a slaw good with barbecue or pork.
Ingredients:
3 cups chopped red cabbage
1/2 cup chopped scallion
1/3 cup of chopped green pepper
1/4 cup of chopped pimento
1/3 cup of chopped celery, (tough strings removed)
salt and fresh ground black pepper
1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp of sugar
2 tbsp of bacon grease, melted and slightly cooled (wicked)
Directions:
1. Toss all the vegetables together with salt/pepper, vinegar, sugar.
2. Chill for one hour or more.
3. Just before serving, add slightly warm bacon grease, toss well and eat.
