3medium apples, peeled and grated
3/4cup sugar
1/2cup red wine vinegar
1teaspoon ground cloves
1cup crisp-cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
fresh apple slices (optional)
Directions:
1. Preparation: 1.Combine cabbage, apples, sugar, vinegar and cloves in slow cooker. Cover; cook on HIGH 6 hours, stirring after 3 hours. Sprinkle with bacon, if desired. Garnish with apple slices.
