Red Beans & Rice - Without the Beans

Yep, you read the title right. :) This is one of my hubby's favorite recipes, except he doesn't like the beans. So we basically have sausage and rice - although sometime I do heat up a can of dark red kidney beans and mix it with mine. Choose the spices you like, very flexible recipe.
Ingredients:
2 cups minute brown rice (1 boil in the bag pouch)
1 (14 ounce) package smoked turkey sausage, sliced thin
salt and pepper
cayenne pepper
cumin
paprika
chili powder
tabasco sauce
liquid smoke
worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. Cook the Minute Rice packet as directed on box.
2. While that cooks, put sausage in skillet with the spices of your choosing.
3. Cook for about 4 minutes, until heated through and sausage is slightly browned.
4. Serve sausage over rice.
5. [May mix a can of red beans together with remaining rice and sausage if you'd like beans.].
