Red Beans and Rice for Dummies!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups wild rice
3 cups water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/2 lbs kielbasa
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
3 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans
1.5 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
3/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Bring the water to a boil. Add the rice and bullion cube and allow to simmer until liquid is completely absorbed, about 20 minutes.
2. Slice sausage and cook in a skillet over medium-low heat. Stir in onion powder, bell pepper and garlic. Saute until the pepper is tender. Add the beans, tomato and spices. Simmer 20 minutes. Serve over the prepared rice.
