Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Make the almond milk first. Soak the 1/4 cup of almonds in water overnight, enough to cover them completely. Drain and rinse in the morning. Put them in a Vita-mix or blender (they'll have expanded while soaking and that's ok) with 1 and 1/4 cups of water and run it on high until smooth. Strain.
  2. Then just toss the almond milk with the rest of the ingredients in a Vita-mix and blend on high for 30 seconds using the tamper if it won't run smooth. Or, use a blender which will take a bit longer but will work just as well as long as you stop it and press down anything that gets stuck and then run it again.
  3. Eat immediately after preparing.
