Raspberry Granita

I am dying to try this as raspberries are my favourite fruit
Ingredients:
1 kg fresh raspberry, pureed (frozen can be used )
1 lemon, juiced
500 g sugar
1/2 cup water
mint leaf (to garnish)
Directions:
1. Combine sugar and water and bring to the boil.
2. Simmer 5 minutes to make a syrup.
3. Allow to cool.
4. Combine berry puree with lemon juice and syrup.
5. Place in a metal bowl or tray.
6. Freeze till set.
