This is made using Framboise de Bourgogne, a brandy distilled from raspberries. This is ideal for garden parties, graduations, and weddings. Preparation time includes chilling time. Recipe taken from The Canadian Living Cookbook from 1987. You may use either fresh or frozen raspberries.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup framboise de bourgogne brandy
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 cup orange liqueur
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 lemons, unpeeled
5 oranges, unpeeled
2 cups raspberries
6 (750 ml) bottles champagne, chilled
Directions:
1. Combine Framboise, Brandy, orange liquer, and sugar in a large container and shake/stir to dissolve sugar. Slice lemons and oranges and add to the container. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
2. Into a chilled punch bowl place a large block of ice then add the chilled mixture and the raspberries. Carefully add the chilled champagne and serve at once.
