This is great with ham for dinner. If you serve over white rice it tastes like rice pudding. Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 cup apple juice (or cider) |
1/2 cup seedless raisin |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Blend in apple juice; stir until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thick. Add raisins; cook 10 minutes to plump raisins. Just before serving, stir in butter. |
