a quick bread with no yeast or abm from jean pare.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1 cup milk
Directions:
1. in large bowl measure all seven dry ingredients.
2. stir thoroughly.
3. make a well in the center.
4. in a small bowl beat egg till frothy.
5. mix in melted butter and milk.
6. stir just to moisten.
7. scrape into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
8. bake at 350 for one hour.
